PDF Viewer For Dingoo Released
April 5, 2010

Darfgarf has released a PDF viewer for Dingux!

NOTE: THIS IS NOT THE FINAL RELEASE. THIS IS JUST A COMPETITION ENTRY

Quote

nupdf is a small, relatively fast pdf reader for the dingoo-a320(running dingux), ben nanonote, and in theory any other system (assuming the libraries can be compiled of course, minor changes may be needed).
It uses the open source mupdf library to handle all pdf operations, and SDL to display/for the UI.

==keybindings==
pan: up/down/left/right
previous page:left shoulder
next page:right shoulder
zoom in:x
zoom out:b
fine panning:a+dpad
forward/back 5 pages:a+shoulder buttons
exit:select

==Installation==
place nupdf.dge, and the data folder on the sd card (e.g /local/nupdf), and launch it as you would any other program (it requires a filename, so use the 'rom chooser' functionality of your menu, to give it a pdf file)

  4. someone needs to compile a kernel with i2c support, then write a driver for the framebuffer, modify the driver of chrontel chip. then it should work.

    Thanks for the reply ... is this viable / feasible ? Or is it really beyond question ?

  6. Awesome pdf reader. Very fast even with big PDF (lots of images etc).

    Also, I love the console error output "can't go beyond the last page, idiot" ;)

    Amazing work !
